Season 8: Animals and Media
Season 8 of The Animal Turn focuses on "Animals and Media" with the added ambition of thinking through questions of how racism, speciesism, and media intersect. Unlike previous seasons, each episode in this season features a panel discussion. While many of the guests are experts in animal studies, some guests are experts in other areas of critical studies, including race and gender studies, and offer important opportunities for thinking across animal studies and other areas of research that are interested in question of power and media.
